Last year, it was announced that Baymax, the lovable personal healthcare companion from Disney's Oscar-winning animated feature, Big Hero 6, would star in a TV series on Disney XD, along with his best pal Hiro and their superhero-wannabe friends Wasabi, Honey Lemon, Fred, and Go Go.

Debuting in Fall 2017, Big Hero 6: The Series will pick up where the film left off as 14-year-old tech genius Hiro enrolls at the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology where he — as the school's new prodigy — will face academic challenges and social trials in equal measure. Meanwhile, off campus, he, , and their other friends — who form the superhero team, Big Hero 6 — embark on high-tech adventures, tackling new scientifically-enhanced villains who threaten their beloved city.

Thanks to 's D23 Expo, fans now have their first look at what Big Hero 6: The Series is going to look like. Watch the exciting opening title below:

Original Voice Cast From Big Hero 6 Includes The Legend Himself, Stan Lee

It looks like we are in for some action-packed episodes, especially when Hiro and team put on their eye-catching superhero garb and gear to protect the city. Baymax appears to be enhancing his expertise in various fields too — from dancing and pancake handling to diving underwater.

Another cool thing about the series is that practically the entire voice cast from the original film will be reprising their roles in the series. So, we will have Ryan Potter (Hiro), Scott Adsit (Baymax), Maya Rudolph (Aunt Cass), Jamie Chung (GoGo), Genesis Rodriguez (Honey Lemon), and most of all, Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee will also return as Fred's dad. Fred however will be voiced by Khary Payton, while Wasabi is voiced by Brooks Wheelan.

And before we can even rate the new series on a scale from 1 to 10, Disney XD has already announced that there will be a second season. It seems the producers are absolutely confident that audiences will take to Big Hero 6: The Series instantly, so let's hope they're right!

In a press release, Marc Buhaj, Disney XD's senior vice president, said:

"(The producers) have delivered a dynamic adventure series that follows the Big Hero 6 superhero team, led by audience favorites Hiro and Baymax. We are honored to have the opportunity to further expand the elaborate world and engaging characters of Big Hero 6 The Series with this early second season order.”

Big Hero 6: The Series debuts this fall on Disney XD.
