's (perhaps unnecessary) remake of 's Oldboy will hit theaters in October and, until then, I'm trying my best to withhold scathing judgment on the project.

The good news is that The Playlist has dropped us a little tidbit to tide us over, before we start raving and ranting about the whole thing:

Although it's a pretty simplistic poster, it looks as though Lee has borrowed from Park's original. The red scratches on the black background could be the marks that imprisoned Oh Dae-su uses to keep track of time.
