It's happening. Batman and Superman will be in the same film - tentatively dubbed Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. shocked and awed audiences everywhere at this year's SDCC when he announcement the film and said that it will draw inspiration from Frank Miller's 30-year-old The Dark Knight Returns. Actor even read the iconic quote: "I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come… In your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."

In the words of Neo, "Whoa."

This is the first time DC's main titans will be appearing alongside one another. Surprisingly, in this story by The Independent, Frank Miller was totally unaware that Snyder was planning on using parts of his storyline for the film. Now, he's apparently meeting with Snyder to discuss the upcoming crossover. I'm really curious as to what you guys think about all of this.

Do you think Snyder would actually make a movie about a 55-year-old Bruce Wayne dealing with America's nuclear fallout? Will it be even more serious and dark than his own Man of Steel? What other characters - like Harvey Dent, Robin, the Joker - do you think could and show appear? Finally: Is Miller's involvement actually a good thing? It's hard not to imagine this adaptation becoming more like Sin City than Batman or Superman...
