It's often a difficult task to track just how many horror films are released year to year. Not only do you have to account for the studio releases, but also the innumerable independent horror flicks that tend to turn up on various VOD outlets.
One such film currently available on demand is 's Haunt. The synopsis online sounds like a pretty standard haunted house film, but the one notable difference is that this indie horror flick stars Oscar nominee (Silver Linings Playbook). From Bloody-Disgusting comes this behind-the-scenes image from Haunt. The image shows "the presence," which appears to be the movie's antagonistic supernatural force.
I don't really understand the thinking behind selling an indie horror film by circulating an image of its ghostly baddie. Are there no surprises in movies anymore?
