Lately we've seen something of a spike in upcoming Hollywood projects adding to the cast even after the cameras have already started rolling, and 's disaster epic Pompeii has just joined those ranks.

Actress , who we can currently see in the horror-tastic Evil Dead remake, has just reportedly inked a deal to join the (presumably doomed) cast of the historical disaster epic.

The movie is set in the days leading up to the epic eruption of Mount Vesuvius and follows the story of slave Milo (), who is on a ship bound for Naples. As he struggles to get home to save Flavia, the woman he loves (), he must also save his best friend, a gladiator trapped inside the city's coliseum before the volcano erupts and buries them all in lava and ash. has also previously been cast in the role of the film's central villain, which you would think would be the giant volcano that will eventually wipe the entire city off the face of the earth, but such is apparently not the case.

Lucas will reportedly be in the as-yet-unnamed role of Flavia's best friend. The movie will also star as Milo's master, and .

No word yet on when the movie will be in theaters, other than that we know it will be sometime next year.
