If you live in or near Hollywood, good news for you: El Capitan Theater, the Walt Disney Company owned-and-operated movie house, will release the Disney film Frozen five days before the rest of the world gets to watch it. Not only that, but the theater will host special family-friendly showings throughout the rest of the year (until January 5th), which will be filled to the brim with extra performances and incentives.

Beginning on November 22nd, these sessions will kick off with spectacular ice carving performances on a stage, and feature special visitors 'Anna' and 'Elsa' (characters from the movie) appearing on stage for the first time live.

Dave Hollis, Disney's executive vice-president of theatrical distribution, remarked:

The whole company is incredibly excited about 'Frozen' and can't wait to share it with audiences this Thanksgiving. We know that fans come to El Capitan to have a special Disney experience, and we are thrilled to give our guests there the opportunity to be among the first in the world to see this stunning new animated adventure.

This early release comes five days prior to the international premiere, which means that the cinema will be the only one in the world to project (at five showings per day) the family flick a total of 25 times without competition.

On opening day, guests will be regaled with special souvenir 3D glasses supplied by realD (also available in kiddie-size for children under eight). On select days, families are invited to have breakfast with 'Anna' at 8.30 AM, right before the 10 AM showing. Tickets including breakfast and the movie are $41 per adult general admission, $38 for child/senior general admission and $51 for VIP admission, which includes popcorn, soft drink, reserved seating and no waiting in line. Additionally, every Tuesday at 10 AM during the month-and-a-half run will be 'Tiny Tot Tuesday,' especially designed for the younger offspring. The lights will be dimmed instead of out and the volume will be turned down a notch.

Showings are at 10 AM, 1 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM and 9:45 PM. Tickets can be bought online at www.elcapitantickets.com, via phone by calling 1-800-DISNEY6 or directly at El Capitan Theater, on 6838 Hollywood Blvd (CA).

Frozen premieres worldwide in cinemas on November 27th.
