The most recent episode of Game of Thrones had plenty of jaw-dropping moments, but one of them was unintentional.

"Beyond the Wall" featured a high-stakes battle against the White Walkers and their Army of the Dead, proving this war will be no easy feat. As Jon Snow led a group of men beyond the Wall to retrieve a member of the undead, it quickly became clear that this would be a suicide mission.

From the get-go, Jon's crew was wildly outnumbered, but the men held their own at first, taking refuge on a giant boulder before "round two" commenced. As the men aggressively sliced through the Wights, there was one particular sequence that caused some eagle-eyed fans to do a double-take. Check it out below:

Did you see the laugh-out-loud mistake? The scene includes The Hound, Tormund and Beric fighting a group of the undead — but look closely at the wildling on the far left. The unknown man equipped with a long spear is swinging and stabbing ... at nothing.

It looks as though the graphics team may have overlooked the wildling, and forgot to give him an opponent to fight. Still, the actor deserves some credit since it appears he trained hard for the sequence!

The hilarious blooper comes in one of the most action-packed episodes of the season, and with the number of bodies involved, it is understandable that something minor like this could be missed. The visual effects team was probably much more focused on the stunning dragon scenes. But it's a good bet that the wildlings will have plenty of actual enemies to fight before the legendary HBO series is over.

The Game of Thrones Season 7 finale airs August 27 on HBO.
