Another season of Game of Thrones has come to an end and the long wait for the next season to arrive begins all over again. Every year, the actors make our TV sets their home for a couple months, and we have a hard time letting go of them once the season comes to a close.

If reports are to be believed, the final season of Game of Thrones won't arrive 'til September of 2018. The wait just keeps getting longer and longer with each passing season. Game of Thrones might not be available to us, but fortunately the actors aren't going anywhere. They have a bunch of other projects that they are working on.

Peter Dinklage

Game of Thrones Character: Tyrion Lannister

Upcoming Projects:

1. The Thicket: The movie is an adaptation of a crime thriller written by Joe Lansdale. It is set in East Texas in the early twentieth century. Dinklage is playing the role of a bounty hunter named Shorty. Apart from starring in the movie, Dinklage is also co-producing. The project is currently in pre-production and no official release date has been set yet.

2. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri: This movie is a crime drama starring the likes of Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell and Frances McDormand. Nothing is known about Peter Dinklage's character at this point. The movie is set to release on November 10th, 2017.

3. O' Lucky Day: O' Lucky Day is an R-rated comedy from Paramount Pictures set to be directed by Adam Shankman. Peter Dinklage will be playing the role of a con man. The movie is currently in development.

4. Three Christs: Three Christs is about Dr. Alan Stone, treating three paranoid schizophrenic patients at the Ypsilanti State Hospital in Michigan, each of whom believes they are Jesus Christ. Peter Dinklage will be seen playing one of those three characters, Joseph. Three Christs is set to hit theaters on September 12.

5. My Dinner with Hervé: My Dinner with Hervé is a TV movie based on the life of French actor Hervé Villechaize. Dinklage will be taking on Hervé's role. Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan, stars alongside Dinklage in this HBO movie. My Dinner with Hervé will air on HBO in 2018.

6. I Think We're Alone Now: I Think We're Alone Now is a sci-fi movie set in a post-apocalyptic world. Elle Fanning will be starring alongside Dinklage. The movie is currently in post-production and is set to hit theaters in 2018.

Game of Thrones Character: Daenerys Targaryen

Upcoming Projects:

1. Above Suspicion: A thriller directed by Philip Noyce, it is based on Joe Sharkey's book of the same name. Emilia Clarke is playing the role of Susan Smith, and Jack Houston also stars. It is set to hit theaters later this year.

2. Han Solo Movie: Gwendoline Christie won't be the only Game of Thrones actress moving to a galaxy far far away after the season ends. Emilia Clarke will be seen as Kira in the untitled Han Solo prequel which is set to hit theaters on May 25, 2017.

Kit Harington

Game of Thrones Character: Jon Snow

Upcoming Projects:

1. The Death and Life of John F. Donovan: Kit Harington can't let go of the name John (with or without an "h"). Now that he's done playing Jon Snow in Season 7 of Game of Thrones, he'll be seen playing the titular role in this film. Some other big names are joining him: Natalie Portman, Jessica Chastain, Susan Sarandon, Nicholas Hoult and Bella Thorne. The movie is being directed by Xavier Dolan. The Death and Life of John F. Donovan is currently in post-production and is set to release on January 18th, 2018.

2. Gunpowder: Harrington will be seen as Robert Catesby in this upcoming BBC mini-series set in the early seventeenth century. The first episode is set to air in 2017.

Maisie Williams

Game of Thrones Character: Arya Stark

Upcoming Projects:

1. Arrivals: Maisie Williams will star alongside Asa Butterfield and Nina Dobrev in this indie drama. Maisie is playing a character named Skye. The movie is currently in post-production and is set to hit theaters in 2018.

2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth: Williams will star in the lead role in the adaptation of New York Times bestselling author Carrie Ryan's young-adult fiction zombie novel of the same name. The story follows Williams's character Mary. The movie is currently in pre-production.

3. Mary Shelley: Elle Fanning and Douglas Booth star in this film, with Maisie Williams in a supporting role. (Former Game of Thrones actor Stephen Dillane is also a part of the cast.) Isabel Baxter is the name of the character Williams is playing in this romantic biopic. The movie is in post-production and is set to release on July 6, 2018.

4. X-Men: The New Mutants: Maisie's on-screen sister, Sophie, has already made her X-Men debut in 2016's X-Men: Apocalypse, and now it's her turn. Williams will be seen as Wolfsbane when The New Mutants hits theaters on April 13, 2018.

Game of Thrones Character: Sansa Stark

Upcoming Projects:

1. X-Men: Dark Pheonix: Sophie Turner is set to reprise her role as Jean Grey in Dark Pheonix, which hits theaters on November 2, 2018. Sophie is set to play an important part in the movie, as the story revolves around her character.

2. Berlin, I Love You: Turner will star alongside Jack Houston in one of the segments of this anthology film. The movie is currently in pre-production.

3. Time Freak: Not only will the two Stark sisters star in X-Men movies, both of them will also be seen opposite Asa Butterfield in other films. This movie is about Butterfield's character, Stillman, who builds a time machine when his girlfriend Debbie, played by Turner, breaks up with him. The movie is set to hit theaters by the end of 2017.

4. Huntsville: This film revolves around the story of Hank, a Southern man who raises eyebrows when he develops a questionable relationship with Josie, a recently transplanted high school student. Josie is being played by Turner. It's set to hit theaters by the end of 2017.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Game of Thrones Character: Jaime Lannister

Upcoming Project:

1. Domino: In this movie, Nikolaj plays a Danish cop who goes rogue with the help of a fellow police officer to track down a killer after his partner is murdered in Copenhagen. Fellow Game of Thrones co-star Carice van Houten will also be seen alongside him in this movie. Domino is currently filming.

Lena Headey

Game of Thrones Character: Cersei Lannister

Upcoming Projects:

1. The Flood: Not only is Headey starring in this film, potraying a character named Wendy, she's also attached as one of the executive producers. Her Game of Thrones co-star Iain Glen will also be seen alongside her. The Flood is set to hit theaters in 2018.

2. Fighting with My Family: Lena Headey plays the mother of a family of wrestlers. Julia Knight. Vince Vaughn, Nick Frost and Stephen Merchant are all set to star in this movie along with WWE Superstars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly. The movie is set to hit theaters in 2018.

Game of Thrones Character: Missandei

Upcoming Projects:

1. The Titan: A sci-fi movie about a military family taking part in a groundbreaking experiment of genetic evolution and space exploration. Sam Worthington, Taylor Schilling and Tom Wilkinson will be seen alongside Nathalie in this movie, which is currently in post-production and set to hit theaters in 2018.

2. Maze Runner: The Death Cure: Nathalie will reprise her role as Harriet in the third installment of the Maze Runner franchise, The Death Cure, which will release on February 9, 2018.

John Bradley

Game of Thrones Character: Samwell Tarly

Upcoming Projects:

1. American Satan: This movie is a thriller about a young rock band (half from England and half from the U.S.), who drop out of college and move to the Sunset Strip to chase their dreams. The band is managed by Bradley's character, Ricky Rollins. American Satan stars Andy Black, Ben Bruce, BooBoo Stewart, Malcolm McDowell, Drake Bell, Mark Boone Jr. and Denise Richards. American Satan is set to hit theaters on October 13.

2. Patient Zero: John Bradley will be seen alongside former Doctor Who, Matt Smith, Stanley Tucci and his former Game of Thrones co-star, Natalie Dormer, in this thriller from Sony Pictures. John Bradley's character is named Scooter. The movie is set to release later this year.

Gwendoline Christie

Game of Thrones Character: Brienne of Tarth

Upcoming Projects:

1. Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Christie joined the Star Wars franchise as Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and she'll be reprising her role when Star Wars: Episode VIII hits theaters next year. It will be interesting to see whether they unmask Captain Phasma, like they did with John Boyega's Finn. The movie is set to release on December 15, 2017.

2. The Darkest Minds: Christie will play Lady Jane in this movie, which adapts a YA thriller about a deadly pandemic; Mandy Moore will also star. The movie is currently filming and is set to hit theaters on September 24, 2018.

With the next season of Game of Thrones being its last, this is the final hiatus that the actors will get to focus on other projects. We hope they all have bright careers after the show ends, but we'll always remember them for the parts they played in Westeros.
