The moment Robb Stark (Richard Madden) headstrongly refused to honor the agreement his mother had made for him to wed Walder Frey's daughter, he sealed his own fate. The Red Wedding lives on in the memories of #GameOfThrones fans as arguably the most shocking, gruesome, and devastating moment of the show.
Dearly departed Robb hasn't been in Westeros since 2013, but Richard Madden, the actor who played him, just got a new gig starring in #Medici: Masters of Florence, and the casting directors over there certainly have a sick sense of humor.

Madden plays Cosimo de' Medici, who's forced to marry Contessina de' Bardi in order to gain prestige and military support for his family's takeover of Florence, Italy. Sound familiar? Just wait.
Contessina is the daughter of Alessandro di Sozzo Bardi, Count of Vernio, who is played by — guess who — David Bradley, the same actor that played Walder Frey.
