Game of Thrones Season 7 is officially underway, and fans are finally seeing all the pieces coming together. Cersei has taken the throne; however, she doesn’t command the army that once protected King’s Landing. The King in the North, Jon Snow, has risen to claim his rightful home in Winterfell, and Daenerys Targaryen is poised to strike Westeros from Dragonstone.

Spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 2, titled Stormborn, below.

Each of the characters we have followed over the last six seasons on Game of Thrones have revealed their agendas, and in future episodes, alliances will be forged that may change the very foundation of Westeros. During Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 2, fans were thrilled when it was revealed that Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen would finally meet for the first time, and that it would happen sooner than we thought.

Upon first hearing that the Mother of Dragons wanted to meet with Jon Snow, the new King in the North was not keen on trusting any descendant of the Mad King. However, after Jon learned that Daenerys’s reclaimed home sits atop a mountain of dragon glass – the only substance known that can defeat White Walkers – he agreed to travel to Dragonstone.

Although Jon had his doubts about meeting with Daenerys, Sansa Stark was vehemently against it, and thought that Jon was putting himself in danger by traveling to Dragonstone. Recently, Sophie Turner commented on the future alliance between houses Stark and Targaryen, and gave a dire warning to the Mother of Dragons.

E! News caught up with Sophie Turner during San Diego Comic-Con, and asked the actress how her character feels about Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen forming an alliance in future episodes:

"I don't know how Sansa feels about Daenerys getting closer and closer. I think Sansa—as long as she has power over Winterfell, that's the struggle that she's dealing with at the moment. As long as Daenerys doesn't interfere with that, she's happy because Winterfell is her home. It's like her haven. That's kind of her baby and that's what she's looking to look after at the moment."

Although, for now, Daenerys has her sights set on King’s Landing, Sophie Turner said that if she comes for Winterfell or threatens Sansa’s family, then she will be forced to act:

"If Daenerys threatens [Winterfell], she's gonna come at her with wolves. Not that they'd beat dragons. That's optimistic."

Sophie Turner knows that Daenerys's forces are formidable, but over the last few seasons, Sansa has proven to be extremely cunning and rather ruthless – especially to those that threaten her home and family. We don’t know when Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen will join forces, but based on Sophie Turner's comments, we can be sure that Sansa will be keeping a close eye on the Mother of Dragons.
