One of the biggest complaints about AMC's The Walking Dead TV show are how many liberties are taken with the source material. I personally think they've done a great job adapting the comic books by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, Charlie Adlard. However, even I can't help but get excited for the direction of season 4. Be aware spoilers follow...

Speaking with THR, executive producer revealed that an episode in season 4 will be "almost verbatim" with one of the comics. There's been a lot of speculation as to what this would be, but the main presumptuous guess is that Rick Grimes will finally lose his hand to the Governor. Dave Alpert, another executive producer, said that it was too much of a burden to tackle during season 3.

Is this something you would finally like to see on The Walking Dead? Let me know below and on Twitter.
