I'm a good bowler, and a good man.

The casting brouhaha over Fifty Shades of Grey continues to rumble...on, on and on. Isn't it time we had an Anastasia and Christian already? It's been so long, I'm tempted to say that if you can't find a suitable cast, just do an animated version.

Regardless, that won't happen (imagine: Pixar do Fifty Shades!), and it looks like we have a new favorite for the role of Anastasia Steele in the future adaptation: Gilmore Girl star herself .

She's topped odds in both William Hill (2/1) and Paddy Power (5/11) in the UK, charging in front of other favorites like , , (even if she has ruled herself out!) and (sorry, way way too sexy).

Okay, it's been noted before: she's absolutely perfect for the role. She's fits the books description of Ana down-to-a-tee: the big blue eyes, brown hair and pale skin are all there, and she's got the cute dorkiness in abundance. But I can't help but think that we're being too obvious.

We got a curveball with as director and I highly suspect the selection of Ana will be a further leftfield choice. In fact, it'll most likely be a total unknown. Think about it. Many a high-profile actress would have great trepidation on taking on such a role so big and career-defining, when such role could also typecast them, in effect being career-damaging. An unknown would most likely have no such fear. So, my verdict is that none of the bookies will clock it and speculation (as fun as it is!) most likely a fools game.

In fact, the future Anastasia Steele is probably walking right past you in Walmart.
