This article contains spoilers from The Walking Dead Season 7.

Fans of were left traumatized back in October when villainous newcomer Negan murdered the beloved character Glenn, beating him to death with a baseball bat named . The character's death had a massive effect on the latest season of the hit.

Now that our group of survivors have started taking revenge on Negan, Glenn is getting the justice that he truly he deserves. However, despite his death, have we seen the last of Maggie's one true love?

Glenn may be dead, but as we've seen in previous seasons of The Walking Dead, dead doesn't always mean that that character is off-limits. Lori, Abraham and Hershel have all appeared in various ways following their untimely demises — and Glenn himself already appeared in one posthumous fantasy sequence:

So, with Gimple's comments in mind, I guess we can only speculate about if and how Steven Yeun will reprise his iconic role. We're all pretty certain that if such an appearance does materialize, it will be related to Maggie's pregnancy. The most likely option is that Yeun could return to film a new flashback for the show, or perhaps Glenn will appear as a vision, much like Lori in the third season.

Either way, we were delighted to see Abraham reappear during the Season 7 finale, so we'd welcome the opportunity to have Yeun appear as Glenn one more time!

The Walking Dead will return to AMC in the fall for Season 8.
