"I don't know about you, Miss Kitty, but I feel so much yummier." You can keep your Suicide Squad 2 and your Deadshot — the best news to come cartwheeling out of the recent Suicide Squad-verse is that the Harley Quinn solo will be more of a Mean Girls affair thanks to the 's latest offering Gotham City Sirens.

For those who don't know, the Sirens comic began in 2009 as the brainchild of legendary writer Paul Dini. It features a mini team-up of , , and as they fund the criminal lifestyle of Gotham's female villains. The series was well-received, but along with the rest of DC's titles, it was cancelled in 2011 to make room for the New 52.

So, with the Quinn solo redrafted into the Sirens world, expect Poison Ivy and Catwoman to hijack Harley for Gotham City Sirens — coming soon to a theater near you.

After Sirens, we saw Harley move over to the Suicide Squad and Ivy find her place in the Birds of Prey, but the trio have remained friends (of sorts). Nothing at all is yet known about the big screen Sirens, but with locked in for an extended Harley Quinn hoedown, who else could be sticking on some hot-pants to play Poison Ivy and Catwoman?

Rocksteady's Arkham games had the ultimate Poison Ivy, shedding the campy Uma Thurman era and literally going back to Ivy's "roots" as the queen of mother nature. We can surely expect to play up on Harley and Ivy's *erm* complicated relationship, so you need a woman who can omit her feminine charms from every pore. It takes a lot more than just scarlet hair to play Pamela Isley, so let's look at some contenders.

Updated 12/15/16: Could Megan Fox be the new Poison Ivy?

Born: May 16, 1986

Known for: Jennifer's Body, Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The sultry Megan Fox is reportedly a huge fan of comic books and has said before that she would love to be Poison Ivy. What started as just a rumor is gathering a lot of attention, with artist Boss Logic even posting an image of what a Fox/Ivy hybrid could look like. Fox certainly has the sexual magnetism to take on the promiscuous Ivy and romance it up with Margot Robbie's Harley, but her name is sure to be one of those marmite actresses thrown into the mix!

Christina Hendricks

Born: May 3, 1975

Known for: Mad Men, Drive, The Neon Demon

Being voted sexiest woman alive should go some way to helping a case for Christina Hendricks playing Poison Ivy. The walking, talking, Jessica Rabbit quite literally took on the male population in AMC's Mad Men. As femme fatale Joan Holloway, Hendricks showed she was not to be messed with across the show's seven seasons. Hendricks has also been outspoken on the media's depiction of women and use of the term "fuller figure," embracing her hourglass, so she could definitely help to shed the comic book stereotypes of women which still dog superhero films — we're looking at you Harley Quinn hot pants.

Marcia Cross

'Desperate Housewives' [Credit: ABC]

Born: March 25, 1962

Known for: Knots Landing, Melrose Place, Desperate Housewives

While Robbie's Harley Quinn is on the younger end of the spectrum, let's not forget that age is just a number. One fiery temptress who could kill it as Ivy Marcia Cross. For years we watched Cross as the collected Stepford Wife Bree Van de Kamp in Desperate Housewives, while behind the quiet suburbanite lived a vicious streak as a gun-toting Republican. The key to Ivy is to look sweeter than pie on the outside, but have that venomous filling, and still embody an intelligent feminine persona. Voila, as a stalwart of the daytime soap, Cross has this nailed already.

Amy Adams

Born: August 20, 1974

Known for: Enchanted, Arrival, Nocturnal Animals

Yes, she may already be Lois Lane in the DCEU, but Amy Adams has Ivy written all over her. While she may be known for her happy heroine roles in the likes of Enchanted and Night at the Museum, it looks like Adams is about to break into some decidedly darker roles. Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals has Oscar nom written all over it, and Adams's portrayal of a scorned wife with a dangerous side puts an interesting spin on her fairytale persona. Given that 2016's Arrival is also taking the box office at storm, Adams is a big name at the moment, and Ayer will undoubtedly be looking for big names in Sirens.

Rachel Weisz

Born: March 7, 1970

Known for: The Mummy, Oz the Great and Powerful, The Lobster

Could Mrs. Daniel Craig play the plant-like wall-crawler? Weisz may not be as much of a big name as she once was, but there are still no shortage of roles for her. Once pigeon-holed as "that woman from The Mummy," Weisz has cast off her days of being Brendan Fraser's co-star and kept her foot firmly in the door. Weisz's performances in Constantine, The Bourne Legacy, and The Lobster prove that she is not your standard bimbo babe, while Oz the Great and Powerful gave her that sympathetic villain edge that Ivy needs.

Lindsay Lohan

Born: July 2, 1986

Known For: The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, The Canyons

I know, I know, but bear with me on this one. One way to rocket a former star into people's good books appears to be to stick 'em in a superhero film. If you ignore the likes of Scary Movie 5 and her personal life, there is a breakout star in Lohan somewhere. Her portrayal of a sexually provocative predator in Bret Easton Ellis's The Canyons oozes Poison Ivy pheromones, so isn't it about time that some more of Hollywood's stars had a Robert Downey Jr.-style redemption?

Catwoman

The trick of any good Catwoman is that she not only has to go up against Batman, but the rest of Gotham City's male population. Part sex symbol, part lone cougar, Catwoman has to be all claws at all times. There have been many iterations of the character over the years as she treads that line between good and bad, but a truly great Selina Kyle has to represent Catwoman's unhinged nature. Robbie certainly did that in Suicide Squad as Harley, but who can match her in Gotham City Sirens?

Updated 12/15/16: Could Eiza Gonzalez be our next Catwoman?

Eiza Gonzalez

'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' [Credit: Netflix]
'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series' [Credit: Netflix]

Born: January 30, 1990

Known for: From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series

The feisty Mexican has come a long way from her telenovela days, currently playing Santanico Pandemonium on Robert Rodriguez's From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. It may be Gonzalez's first English-speaking part, but she is already making quite the name for herself. Gonzalez certainly has the feline features to play Selina Kyle and she recently followed David Ayer, Margot Robbie, and Geoff Johns on Twitter. Usually Johns following you on Twitter is an indication of a role in the DCEU, but could Gonzalez be one step ahead as the hot tip to put on the catsuit?

Ruby Rose

Born: March 20, 1986

Known for: Orange Is the New Black, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, xXx: The Return of Xander Cage

Sticking with the younger theme of Margot Robbie, Ruby Rose swaps life behind bars for a life in PVC. The spunky inmate of Litchfield Penitentiary has had a brief role in Orange Is the New Black, where all it took was a cheeky wink and we were sold. Rose continues her tough cookie persona in the xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, so we know she has the ball-busting skills to take on the rest of the Sirens. Rose also fits the more modern interpretation of a short-haired tearaway Catwoman, and can you just imagine having Rose and Robbie on our screens? That would be one hell of a beautiful film.

Mila Kunis

'Black Swan [Credit: Fox Searchlight]
'Black Swan [Credit: Fox Searchlight]

Born: August 14, 1983

Known for: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Black Swan, Oz the Great and Powerful

Meg from Family Guy? Mila Kunis's sultry voice and feline stares would make her a superb Catwoman. For a while now Kunis has popped up in various fan castings for either DC or Marvel, so it is about time to give her a shot. Anyone who needs to see Kunis's mean streak, check out her disturbing, but powerhouse, performance in Black Swan. The best part of Kunis is that she would undoubtedly bring her humor to the role. That, and she has also been named one of 2016's most profitable stars, so the figures speak for themselves.

Gwendoline Christie

'Game of Thrones' [Credit: HBO]
'Game of Thrones' [Credit: HBO]

Born: 28 October, 1978

Known for: Game of Thrones, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens

The wildcard in the pack. We may be used to a more petite version of Catwoman, but at a striking 6ft 3 in, Gwendoline Christie would certainly be a very unique take on the character. In a world of knights and sword-swingers, Christie has reached fan-favorite territory as warrior woman Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. She was heard (but not seen) as the maligned Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but the promise that she could return holds out hope for a character reinvention. There is no denying that Christie's presence is always felt in whatever role she plays, so, given that DC is branching into the Amazonian world of Wonder Woman, could Catwoman follow suit?

Thandie Newton

'Westworld' [Credit: HBO]
'Westworld' [Credit: HBO]

Born: November 6, 1972

Known for: Interview with the Vampire, The Pursuit of Happyness, Westworld

Newton showed she had balls, real balls, as brothel Madam Maeve Millay on HBO's first season of Westworld. Putting the likes of Mission: Impossible II behind her, Newton is surely set for a resurgence of her career thanks to Westworld, and Selina Kyle could be a great catch. Voted as World's Sexiest Vegan in 2014, that would make Newton more suited to playing Poison Ivy, but there is something about here that screams Catwoman. Uncompromising both on and off the screen, Newton is a force to be reckoned with and apparently wakes up angry every day, seeing it as a positive energy — sounds like something Catwoman would do

Michelle Pfeiffer

'Batman Returns' [Credit: Warner Bros.]

Born: April 29, 1958

Known for: Grease 2, Dangerous Liaisons, Batman Forever

Finally, it makes sense really when you think about it. With the appearance of Catwoman everyone will automatically be thinking "will it beat Michelle Pfeiffer?" Anne Hathaway was in no way a bad Catwoman, but be honest, she was no Pfeiffer. The Selina Kyle from 1992's Batman Returns was near-perfect, so much so that Warner Bros. were even planning on a Pfeiffer solo film. Sadly, pregnancy got in the way and the idea was canned. There would be a poetic justice on having Pfeiffer back in the catsuit as a more mature Catwoman. Listen to the sound of a whip-crack and let that idea sink in!

'Suicide Squad' [Credit: Warner Bros.]

While we wait for the inevitable Brooklyn twang of Margot Robbie to return, the race to Gotham City is sure to heat up. Suicide Squad may have dropped the ball in a lot of ways, but the A-list cast managed to save the film from complete destruction. With a constantly expanding DCEU, and everyone falling over each other to make their film the greatest, a second chance with Ayer at the helm could be make or break. Either way, playing Pammy or Selina will be the hottest ticket in town.
