With only about a month and a half to go before The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug finally hits the big screens, it's always good to revisit the sequel's predecessor in order to whet appetites and refreshen memories.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey DVD & Blu-ray edition comes out tomorrow (Tuesday), and with it come 12 minutes of extended footage from the film plus nearly nine hours of bonus material. If you want a little taste of the additional runtime, check out this short - yet comical - scene highlighting the dwarves' lack of table manners at Rivendell, the gorgeous dwelling of the Elves. Of special note is Elrond's (played by ) facial expression as he watches his guests become a bit... rowdy at his very own table:
