Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be a game changer in more ways than one. Not only does it have a pretty unusual assortment of characters, but it will also move the Marvel Cinematic Universe into space and, according to a possible hint from The Motorcycle Industry Association, into the future too.

The industry association's website recently featured a small news posting about how they had been contacted by Marvel:

... who are looking for electric bikes with a 'futuristic' look to use in a major feature film. This will be shot in England in an imaginary 2045.

The next MCU movie to be shot in England is slated to be GotG so it's not a big leap to think that these bikes, and the 2045 setting will feature in the -directed film.

This brings up an interesting question of time logistics since GotG comes out before The Avengers: Age Of Ultron. If Guardians does take place in 2045, it would seem that we'll have some more time-jumping on our hands if rumors that they will be appearing in 2015's Avengers 2 are to be believed.

What do you think about Guardians of the Galaxy going into the future? I say: Awesome.
