Warning: This article contains major spoilers from The Flash Season 3, Episode 14 "Attack On Central City."
Undoubtedly, one of the best additions to The Flash this season has been none other than the sassy, beautiful and powerful inter-dimensional traveler known as Gypsy. Earth-19's bounty hunter has only appeared in four episodes — and two of them were post-credit scenes — yet she has made an impression that will stay with us — and a certain Team Flash member — for a very long time.
So, with that in mind, it's clear that four episodes simply isn't enough for the earth-jumping metahuman. Her well-received stints on the show just highlight how much she added to not only the story, but the entire dynamic. Therefore, if she doesn't appear again this season, Gypsy should become a regular feature of the show next season.
A Refreshing Superhero
I absolutely love The Flash — it's one of my favorite #TV shows — but even I have no problem admitting that the show relies too heavily on speedsters. With villains such as Reverse-Flash, Zoom and Savitar destroying Central City over the past three years, Barry has aligned himself with the likes of Jay Garrick, Wally West and Jesse Quick — all of whom are speedsters. These speedsters have the potential to produce amazing storylines, the show's heavy reliance on them limits the amount of new material it can explore.
However, adding someone like Gypsy to the team of #superheroes would completely refresh everything about the team. Not only can she travel to all the parallel universes in the multiverse, she can also shoot red waves from her hands — which can even stop speedsters in their tracks. A trick that might come in handy when stopping Savitar. While Cisco also possesses powers like hers, he still very much remains in the cortex in S.T.A.R. Labs, using his brain to help Barry instead of his powers. Thus, there is an opening for a vibing metahuman on Team Flash.
Moreover, when it comes to personality, Gypsy stands out from the crowd. Her bad attitude and badass personality makes her one of a kind, and the fact that she could be considered a little rough around the edges sets her apart from the mostly happy superheroes on the show.

An Equal For Cisco
You don't need to be a scientist to see the chemistry between Gypsy and Cisco. From the moment she first appeared in S.T.A.R. Labs and attacked H.R. Wells, you could sense the connection between the two — a connection that only got stronger when she realized he was like her. And while the two were on opposing sides, that couldn't stop them from sharing a few moments here and there — even during the intensity of an inter-dimensional battle.
Speaking of Cisco, "Attack On Gorilla City" just proved that he truly deserves to be happy. Outside of his kiss from Lisa Snart, Team Flash's Vibe has yet to have an official love interest on the show. Furthermore, the writers really went out of their way to make the poor guy miserable at the beginning of the season by killing off his brother Dante and having him harbor an understandable grudge against Barry for changing the timeline. Isn't it time he found some happiness?
And as part two of the Gorilla City two-parter highlighted, there is nobody more suited to Cisco than Gypsy. Not only is he extra cool — and hilarious — when around her, he can reach her on a level that nobody else can. Remember, it was him who managed to defeat her and thus, convince her that H.R. was worth saving. Moreover, he also managed to convince her to channel her inner hero and retrieve Solovar to defeat Grodd. Simply put, these two are meant to be together, and there is no time like the present.
So with Gypsy having disappeared off to Earth-19 once more, we are left wondering if we will ever see show up on The Flash again? While Cisco could always go and visit her on her Earth, that won't change the fact that she must eventually return. After all, her take-no-prisoners attitude sets her apart from all of the other characters. Moreover, her ability would make her a valuable ally on Team Flash and allow her to stand out among all the speedsters. And that's why the show would benefit from having her as a regular presence. Thanks to her consistently memorable appearances, it's likely that Gypsy will show up again at one point or another — and that is most definitely a good thing.
