The beefcake who plays crossbow-wielding Daryl Dixon in AMC's The Walking Dead has turned 45-years-hot today!
Believe it or not (he's looking buff for his age, no?) Norman Reedus was born on this day in 1969 and has since led us safely through the rather entertaining TV zombiepocalypse - for which he rightfully earned a Saturn nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2012.
Outside of The Walking Dead, Reedus is known for playing vigilante fraternal twin Murphy MacManus in The Boondock Saints as well as a number of other kick-ass roles including Scud in Blade II.
Obviously, Norms is 100% awesome for other reasons, too. Like, he supports Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride) shippers, he has an adorable bromance with Andrew Lincoln (who plays Rick in the show), and he's totally sweet to all his fans!
So, let's all raise our glasses (and crossbows) to Norman Reedus - and thank the Lord for putting him on this Earth to protect us from becoming zombie dinner: HAPPY BIRTHDAY NORMAN REEDUS!
The Walking Dead returns on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 9 PM on AMC.
