has an interesting habit of keeping connected with his fans on Twitter. And no, I don't just mean tweeting selfies and Instagraming his various protein shakes. Stallone has used the social network to be so forthcoming regarding the production of The Expendables 3 that he often beats the various news outlets to the revealing of major developments. I'm not really sure how to feel about this. On the one hand, as much as I love the individual performers in these films, the franchise has yet to deliver the type of thrill that this assemblage should inherently inspire. And, no disrespect intended, but trading Bruce Willis for Harrison Ford is like trading one lethargic old hero with a tendency to phone-in recent performances with another lethargic old hero with a tendency to phone-in recent performances. I'm not completely discouraged, but it's sad that I'm not immediately excited by Ford's casting.

What do you guys think?
