If you've ever had a rampant desire to channel Hermione Granger and don a floaty, periwinkle-blue gown and shimmy on in on the arm of a handsome Bulgarian, now's your chance. The Yule Ball is coming this holiday season and even us lowly Muggles are allowed to attend.

All over the US, Barnes and Noble stores are hosting a slew of the very first Magical Holiday Balls on Friday 9, 2016. According to the book retailer's press release, the events will allow true Potterheads to whip out their wands, dress up and engage in a stunning evening of dancing, music and giveaways. Quite frankly, 16 years on, this is probably the closest you're going to get to the festivities brought to light during the Triwizard Tournament in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire:

Alongside the likelihood of swaying side to side to some Christmas tunes, there are reports of a Harry Potter craft station, some funky Wizard charades, trivia games and other wizard-themed snacks (although hopefully none purchased from Zonko's Joke Shop!). Whether or not the Weird Sisters will be performing once again, is still unknown.
