is without a doubt the biggest pop star in the world right now. The former star hits the headlines each week for various reasons, whether it's his new solo music or his relationships with including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner.

This week, Styles spoke to The Sun about the release of his debut solo album and, during the interview, the singer answered a question about his sexuality. When asked about Miley Cyrus's decision to be open about her pansexuality, Styles was full of praise, saying:

"Being in a creative field, it’s important to be progressive. People doing stuff like that is great."

On the topic of his own sexuality, Styles commented:

"It’s weird for me — everyone should just be who they want to be. It’s tough to justify somebody having to answer to someone else about stuff like that."

When asked if he's ever felt the need to personally label himself, the young heartthrob had this to say:

"No, I’ve never felt the need to really. No... I don’t feel like it’s something I’ve ever felt like I have to explain about myself."

Styles' debut single "Sign of The Times" topped the charts in over 84 countries and the ex-One Direction star is set to go on tour later this year. Additionally, Styles has set his sights on an acting career and will feature in Christopher Nolan's war epic Dunkirk — his appearance in the latest trailer for the film sent fans into a meltdown. So maybe interviewers should just ask him about that instead.

Will you be going to see Harry Styles in Dunkirk? Tell us in the comments below!
