After the Season 3 finale of The Flash left us all reeling with shock, fans had many questions regarding the show's future. With Team Flash in a state of disarray and familiar faces set to return for Season 4, things are seemingly going to get a lot crazier.

However, some major changes are also set to rock Central City. Among those changes is the debut of DC Comics character, the Elongated Man. And after weeks of wondering, we now we finally know what he will look like.

Enter Elongated Man

Hartley Sawyer will be joining The Flash as Ralph Dibny a.k.a. Elongated Man. As predicted by pretty much everyone, Dibny will be one of the Flash's allies — who, by day, is a fast-talking private investigator, and by night costumes up to patrol the streets and fight crime thanks to his ability to stretch his body to any shape or form.

Sawyer has previously starred in the likes of Glory Daze, The Young & The Restless, and the critically acclaimed short-film SPiN. He is no stranger to The CW, having most recently appeared on CW Seed's Saving The Human Race. He will recur throughout Season 4 of The Flash and according to the previously released character breakdown, has the potential to return for Season 5.

But Sawyer isn't the only new face coming to Central City. The 100's Neil Sandilands will be showing up as Season 4 Big Bad Clifford DeVoe a.k.a. The Thinker, and he will be accompanied by Kim Engelbrecht, who will be portraying his right hand villain, the Mechanic. Furthermore, film and TV veteran Danny Trejo will be joining the show as Breacher, a feared Earth-19 bounty hunter who also happens to be Gypsy's father.

While we already knew that Elongated Man was headed to Central City, it's good to finally put a face to the name. Ralph Dibny is undoubtedly an iconic DC Comics superhero, and I can't wait to see Sawyer bring him to life on .

With Sawyer's casting, the Elongated Man's debut on The Flash is only a matter of time. Let's just hope they don't stretch it out too long.
