If you're one of those people who thought The Phantom Menace was bad, well, wait until you've seen the Star Wars 1978 Holiday TV Special. It's so bad, it makes The Phantom Menace look like Schindler's List.

In 1978 some TV bright spark thought, "I know what people want: A Star Wars Holiday special featuring singing and dancing and a ridiculous storyline" And that's exactly what was made. Luckily, had nothing to do it, instead just allowing them to use the characters. It was something he certainly regrets. In 2005 he said:

We let them use the characters and stuff and that probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, but you learn from those experiences. If I had the time and a sledgehammer, I would track down every copy of that show and smash it.

Well, it seems he should probably start at 's house. In 2010 she joked that she played the show at holiday parties, but added it was "mainly at the end of the night when I want people to leave." It really is that bad. If you think you can make it though ALL 97 MINUTES of it (plus a LOAD of commercials and an interrupting Cold War news report), then check it out below:
