Green Lantern has been a very elusive character for DC and fans. In 2014, Warner Bros. announced its full slate of DC films, which included a movie, meaning the vast world of space-cops was out there in the DCEU. Since then though, there's been little to no Green Lantern references in DC's films.

is coming up, and as any dedicated fans know, Green Lantern is an integral component of the super team in the comics. Unfortunately, the live-action line-up is comprised—so far, at least—of only Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, and The Flash.

Now, recent rumors have stated a Green Lantern member has a role in the film, but going by the limited information given, it's not any of the four most well-known ones (Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner or Kyle Rayner). It seemed to make it clear that that—no matter how hard we tried to have our voices heard—we wouldn't see any of our favorite power ring wearers take their rightful place in the Justice League's first outing.

But turns out we're not the only ones who want to see Hal or John in the film. Superman himself, , and his real-life Krypto, Kal, want a (specifically Hal Jordan) in the film. The actor posted these two images on his Instagram:

"Kal looking for Hal"

He followed the post with a picture of himself, with a Hal Jordan bust watching over him:

"Other Kal looking for Hal."

That's right, even Henry Cavill and his dog are asking for a Green Lantern appearance sooner rather than later. Hopefully that clarifies just how much we all want the cocky superhero as part of the .

Now, before Warner Bros. writes this off as another meaningless request, it should keep in mind Superman's asking politely. As we've seen before, good ol' Supes isn't above some world-shattering freak-outs when things don't go his way...

Now imagine that plus his real-life's Krypto's similar powers of persuasion... In light of that, it's safe to say the best course of action for Warner Bros. and DC is to simply put Hal Jordan in Justice League.

Do you think Henry's voice will help our cause in having Green Lantern in Justice League? Which other member would you like to see in the film?
