With the release of Justice League on the horizon, you can bet that Warner Bros. and DC are hoping that the film will achieve the same level of success as its last outing, Wonder Woman. Thus, it should come as no surprise to hear that they are pulling out all the stops to ensure that the highly-anticipated superhero film delivers in a big way.

The studio is spending $25 million on extensive reshoots in Los Angeles and London, which have lasted around two months. While this is a lot longer and more expensive than traditional reshoots, it's to be expected for such a major film. However, since Justice League is an ensemble film, it hasn't been easy to free up the schedules of the various in-demand actors.

While Batman and Wonder Woman haven't been as hard to reshoot, given that Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot aren't working on any other films at the moment, the same can't be said about The Flash and . Ezra Miller, who portrays the Scarlet Speedster, is currently reprising his role of Credence Barebone in the untitled Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them sequel while 's Man of Steel Cavill is busy working on the sixth film.

Henry Cavill Is Filming 'Justice League' With A Mustache — And It Will Be Removed With CGI

While Warner Bros. have been able to overcome Miller's scheduling issues due to the fact that the Fantastic Beasts sequel is also a WB property, they haven't had quite as much success with Cavill. The actor initially didn't expect to have to return to Justice League for reshoots until after he had completed the sixth Mission: Impossible film. But as things did not turn out this way, he has had to jump back and forth between productions.

However, as Cavill grew a mustache for the Mission: Impossible role, Paramount did not allow him to shave the facial hair for the Justice League reshoots. Thus, the mustache will have to be digitally removed during post-production — which seems like a good use of millions of dollars.

So, fear not, despite the scheduling conflicts and facial hair fiasco, it seems like Superman will be clean-shaven in Justice League. While facial hair certainly wouldn't be completely illogical, given that the character is returning from the dead in the superhero flick, it will have to be digitally removed — especially if he didn't sport it during initial shoots.

But just what could Supes look like with a mustache? Thankfully, some folks have taken to social media to share some genius images of the Mustache Of Steel. Check them out below:

And just so Superman doesn't feel alone when sporting his fabulous new look, some even reimagined the entire Justice League with mustaches.

While the scheduling conflicts facing Warner Bros. and DC have brought some unforeseen circumstances, it's good to know that they are putting all their efforts into into making sure that the film is up to, ahem, 'stache. Despite the issues, it seems like the studio is intent on recapturing Wonder Woman's success and ushering in a new era of acclaimed DCEU films.

But no matter what happens, you can rest assured that Superman will somehow return from the dead. And after the epic Comic-Con trailer revealed troublesome times for the Justice League, there's no doubt about it — Clark mustache to the rescue.
