#HilaryDuff has had a harsh time with the critics these days. And while it's understandable why her Halloween costume this year may have caused offense, the following is quite frankly, rather baffling.
This week, the adoring mama took her 4-year-old son Luca to Disneyland, where they had a blast going on all of the rides while wearing matching Mouse ears in the "happiest happiest place on Earth." However, when the actress shared a photo of herself kissing her little boy on the lips in front of the It's A Small World attraction, the internet trolls really kicked off. Here's the image:
Apparently, a bunch of people were outraged about where Duff was kissing Luca on the face, with some spewing comments like this onto social media:
"I personally just rather keep that difference of romantic and innocent kiss separate."
Another person outright said that instead of seeing a cute mother-son moment, the actress was actually engaging in:

Finally, after deciding that enough was enough, #HilaryDuff hit back, slamming those that called her out for being a bad mother for showering her baby boy with kisses:
It's not the first time that the Younger actress has been criticized for her parenting skills. In an interview last year, Duff revealed how judged she feels every step of the way. Speaking to Yahoo, she said:
"I felt judged when I decided to start supplementing with formula after seven months. Or when we got my son vaccinated or put him on antibiotics for an ear infection. People were like, 'You should really try oil remedies.' I think it has more to do with insecurity than anything. Then people overcompensate by saying things they shouldn't. It's like that idea that when people say something mean to you, they're really just saying what they would say to themselves."
Hilary also opened up about how frustrating it was to have the paparazzi always documenting her every move when it comes to Luca. She revealed:
"When he was 2, well, that’s when children learn to throw tantrums. I can’t help it if someone’s taking a picture when I’m taking him to get a haircut — and he hates haircuts and he doesn’t like the photographers and throws a tantrum and then there’s a headline: ‘Can’t Control Her Child!’”
Do you think it's inappropriate for a mom to kiss her child on the lips?
