There is no better way to start the holiday season than by getting a sneak peek of the most anticipated movies of the coming year. A few days ago, trailers for #RogueOne and #AssassinsCreed were released. On top of that, Marvel recently gave us a first look at its group of lovable misfits as they bring the guardians back to the big screen for the second time around. Furthermore, after all the happiness and excitement brought on by the teaser for #GuardiansOfTheGalaxyVol2, Fox subsequently dropped their trailer for Hugh Jackman's final Wolverine movie entitled #Logan, giving us a lump in our throat and a pang in our chest thanks to the perfect rendition of "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

Haven't seen the trailer yet? Check it out below before going through its most sentimental moments.

So without further ado, here are five moments in the trailer that truly straight up hit us all in the feels.

1. 'I Hurt Myself Today, To See If I Still Feel'

All of us have been through rough times that left us staring at our reflection in the mirror. Well, ours may not be as rough as what Wolverine/Logan seems to be feeling in this particular shot. Hands stained in blood, scars and wounds visible on his body, we couldn't feel more sympathetic for our grizzled protagonist.

2. 'I Focus On The Pain, The Only Thing That's Real'

Professor X used to be the man we all look up to — a mentor, a father and a friend. Now, poor old Charles Xavier is lying on a (presumably) stolen hospital bed inside an abandoned water tank, gazing at the spacious circular chamber with spots of light that resemble his high-technology Cerebro that he used back in the day to track down mutants.

Some sources say that Professor X is struggling with either Alzheimer's disease or dementia in this movie. For a guy who has the most powerful mind in the world, we could feel nothing but despair as Professor X's time might come to an end. They are hereby totally ignoring the time when they killed him off in X-Men: The Last Stand, since it didn't really deliver Charles's death very well.

3. 'Beneath The Stains Of The, The Feelings Disappear'

The feelings may truly disappear, but Wolverine/Logan's care for his old mentor hasn't faded away. Logan, looking tired and shaky, carrying Charles into his bed is such a heart-melting sight to see, and if this scene didn't make your chest twitch, nothing will.

4. 'You Are Someone Else, I Am Still Right Here'

Hugh Jackman has been portraying the regenerative, clawed mutant for more than 16 years, and this may be a simple shot of Laura Kinney a.k.a X-23, looking at a sleeping and exhausted Logan, but it is more than that: It is a wretched look at Hugh Jackman as he puts down the claws, passing the mantle of Wolverine to whomever the next deserving person may be. Wolverine may be someone else in the future, but there is only one Hugh "Logan" Jackman.

5. 'I Would Keep Myself, I Would Find A Way'

We're down to the shot that made all of us think: "He is not burying Charles, isn't he?" Laura Kinney, a.k.a X-23, while wearing cool Cyclops glasses, holds on to Logan's hand (who is also holding a shovel) as both of them stare at something on the ground. This scene hits at the possibility of Charles's death in the movie and possibly the end of Professor X's journey. Rumors have it that it will be Patrick Stewart's last performance as the leader of the X-Men as well. I do hope that Director James Mangold and the rest of the team pull off a bittersweet movie for both Hugh and Patrick as they leave two major career-defining roles behind.

So that's it for the tear-jerking first look at 20th Century Fox's Logan. Have you watched the trailer? What do you think about it? Comment it below and let me know. Peace out, nerd heads!
