For anyone who grew up in the ‘90s, ABC’s TGIF lineup was the official start of the weekend: two solid hours of the best sitcoms on television. Sadly, the shows that once filled our Fridays with joy have long since ended, but our memories and fondness for those shows lives on in our nostalgia-filled pop culture landscape.

Now Hulu is here to help us relive our childhoods. The company has just struck a deal with Warner Bros. Television to stream over 800 episodes from the TGIF lineup, including the full series runs of Full House, Step By Step, Perfect Strangers, Family Matters, and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.

All five series will be available for streaming in their entirety on September 29th, just in time for fans to celebrate the 30th anniversary of . Each show that Hulu has nabbed was a ratings powerhouse in the ‘90s and had their own specific hook. Whether it’s Michelle Tanner, Steve Urkel or Balki Bartokomous, each program's flagship character will keep audiences entertained for the ungodly numbers of hours spent streaming all 800 episodes.

While it’s exciting that all five of these shows will be streaming on Hulu, one of TGIF’s most popular shows is missing from the lineup, and fans have taken notice.

Fans Lament The Absence Of Boy Meets World From Hulu's TGIF Lineup

Boy Meets World is one of the most beloved shows to come out of the ‘90s TGIF lineup. Everyone loved the harrowing love story of Corey and Topanga (or Corey and Shawn, depending how you look at it). They were characters who grew up alongside us. It is understandable that fans would want Boy Meets World included in Hulu’s TGIF deal; however, it was sadly not a part of the deal.

Why? The rights to Boy Meets World’s media distribution are owned by Lionsgate, and thus, would not be included in the deal between Warner Bros. and Hulu. Nevertheless, fans were upset that Boy Meets World remains absent from any streaming platform, and they took to Twitter to air their grievances:

While it’s not Hulu’s fault that Boy Meets World wasn’t included in their TGIF deal, the show is still only available on DVD. It would be amazing to have all seven seasons of in streaming HD, so we could binge until we die of malnutrition. But thankfully, as fans of Boy Meets World, we are resilient, and as Eric Matthews once said: “Life’s tough, get a helmet”.

Despite the lack of Boy Meets World, Hulu’s deal that allows them to stream 800 episodes of quality TGIF shows is truly monumental. We can’t wait to saddle up and watch every episode of Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Full House, Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper and Step by Step, when they arrive one Hulu on September 29th.
