Game of Thones is renowned for its intricate costumes. The various cloths and colors of each of the Seven Kingdoms have always served to tell the story of their inhabitants, with even minor changes in a character's wardrobe hinting at potentially big plot changes.

Considering the show's costumes are so acclaimed that they've toured the world, it's a little surprising to hear where the costume department source some of their fabric: Swedish homewares super chain IKEA. The store's shaggy rugs were considered to be the perfect material to adorn the Night's Watch as they patrolled the wall.

While some fans were amused, cosplayers were no doubt thrilled to realize they could easily replicate one of ' most iconic outfits. Luckily, IKEA have released detailed, step-by-step instructions on how to do just that!

Good news for those who can't even manage to assemble a simple MÖRBYLÅNGA without having a mental breakdown! This is one IKEA invention that doesn't require a single Allen wrench.

In fact, all you'll need is a pair of scissors and your shaggy IKEA rug of choice to make your very own "winter shoulder warmer":

This isn't the first time IKEA's jumped on the Game of Thrones bandwagon. IKEA Australia released this rather distasteful promo for one of their products after the untimely death of Hodor:

And let's not forget this royal showroom display from IKEA France, which featured a message that translates to, "Would you dare sit on the throne?"
