It's a brand new week and with a new week comes a brand new episode of The Walking Dead for us to all fan out about. After a less than stellar seventh season, the AMC series has slowly been reclaiming some of its pizzazz and, a few mistakes and CGI issues aside, the internet has been enjoying the zombie show once more.

Last week's episode had everyone talking due to the return of antagonist Negan, and while our favourite villainous psychopath was absent once again this week, there were plenty of great things that had the internet talking. In fact, another strong episode of this week meant that the internet had a lot to say about the post-apocalyptic drama — especially during one particular scene — so let's take a look at the best online reactions for this Sunday's episode.

Without a doubt the biggest and most shocking moment in the latest episode was when Rosita and Michonne accidentally infiltrated a secret Savior outpost. The two Alexandrians wasted no time in taking out the threats once they realized that the Saviors planned on using loud music to draw the walkers away from the Sanctuary and ruin all their hard work. Using her wits, Rosita threatened the male Savior with a rocket launcher. The man didn't take her seriously, and laughing at our heroine when he saw her holding the weapon.

He told her that she wasn't going to use that, but Rosita proved him wrong, pulling the trigger, releasing a rocket that went straight through the man and sent him up in flames. It was arguably one of the show's coolest WTF moments ever and, as you can imagine, the internet was freaking out at this scene. Let's take a look at the best reactions below:

We're almost at the halfway point of the season, and this means we've got the no doubt action-packed mid-season finale to look forward to. With the war between the Saviors and the Alexandrians continuing, there'll likely be many more jaw-dropping moments in The Walking Dead's future, and that means the internet will have a lot to talk about. I don't know about you, but I can't wait to see what they have to say. Over and out.

The Walking Dead airs Sundays at 9/8c on AMC.
