We're all aware that Marvel likes to ambush us with shocking mid- and post-credits scenes, like Thanos's surprise appearance at the end of The Avengers and the awesomely weird shawarma scene where all of our heroes took some much needed rest and got themselves some good old-fashioned Arab cooking.

Still, expecting them doesn't make us any less excited for those little teasers which make the movie's end all the easier to deal with. Great news for those of you who agree, because we have some Iron Man 3 post-credits spoilers for you right here...

Latino Review's El Mayimbe has dropped a very satisfying scoop. According the "spies" who attended 's movie premiere in Paris recently, the post-credits sequence goes a little like this:

It starts with a close shot of Tony Stark on a couch talking about his various traumas, obviously he's talking to someone, as if he was seeing a shrink, the tone of the scene is light and supposedly funny. Then we discover that the person he's talking to is Bruce Banner/Mark Ruffalo, who fell asleep because of Tony's boring story. Tony remarks that Banner has been sleeping during the most part of his story and yells at him, and Banner just mumbles and says "You know, I'm not that kind of doctor!" Then Tony recalls another memory and resumes his monologue, and then we see Banner starting to fall asleep again.

There it is! Bruce Banner will be in the post-credits sequence.

Two thoughts: Firstly, it's awesome to have in a scene to keep us fans interested in the characters. Secondly, I think there could be two post-movie scenes again, a la The Avengers. I'd be shocked if Marvel wouldn't build toward another movie like Ant-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, or Thor: The Dark World. If this is legit, then it's probably an end-credits scene with comedic value much like the Shawarma one, as opposed to the plot-driving type of mid-credits scene like the Thanos scene, that would lead into another movie. What do y'all think?

Iron Man 3 hits theaters May 3rd.
