Upcoming TV shows are Sleepy Hollow and Dracula, which were both films before being shot for TV. Sleepy Hollow was actually a short story and legend before becoming a film in 1999 starring . The legend of Ichabod Crane has been told for years, along with the story of the Headless Horseman. Dracula is a gothic novel that is required reading in some school curriculums. Dracula has been made into many films, from the 1931 classic starring Bela Lugosi to 's 1992 's Dracula starring and to starring in seven films as Count Dracula. With as Ichabod Crane in a future setting of Sleepy Hollow and (from Showtime's The Tudors) as Dracula, TV is going to be different, since Sleepy Hollow with Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman and Dracula being legendary figures in literature and in film.

Surprisingly, I like the fact that Sleepy Hollow and Dracula are going to be a TV series. Legendary films being made into TV series I see as a good thing. I have never seen any Dracula movie, the one with Gary Oldman or Christopher Lee, and I know what the novel Dracula is about. I have never seen the movie Sleepy Hollow. So for people who have never seen the movies or read the book, the TV series will probably get people to watch the Dracula and Sleepy Hollow films. I know some people will probably not like the fact that classics are going to be a TV show, because it might ruin the book or movie for other people. I am all for these classic films to becoming a TV series, because I am already looking up information about Dracula and Sleepy Hollow before they've even begun.
