I'm a good bowler, and a good man.

Quick question for all those gossip-addicts out there: if you could be a fly-on-the-wall on the set of a U.S TV show, what would it be?

Here's a suggestion: The Vampire Diaries. With (Damon) and (Elena), the romantic leads, having endured a real-life split, could it be more awkward?

AND it turns out we're not the only ones thinking it. Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Dobrev herself is quite scared to return to the set, and film the inevitable love scenes this season's plot will bring. The suggestion is that she fears some sort of domino effect - first, their performances plunge, in effect affecting the quality of the show and it's overall performance. And then? If The Vampire Diaries starts to bomb, that future movie career she dreams of. It's over.

If I'm honest, it's understandable that she's worried about returning to the set. Filming love scenes with an ex - that redefines awkward. But if this is true (just a note: I highly suspect it's mindless speculation - this article is very, very vague), she's over-thinking this. She's a prime candidate for movie stardom in the near future, and it's highly doubtful this current awkward situation is going to affect this. What's more important is that she gets her transition right: first, she either quits (or the show ends) whilst it's still in peoples good books. Then, pick the right projects and Nina could be following into the Hollywood top echelons.

Oh, and Nina, here's one last snippet of advice: DON'T date on the job in the future.

What does everyone think? Is Nina's split really going to affect her future career? Has this got everyone more hyped for the new season of The Vampire Diaries in the fall? Get in touch below!
