When asked by a reporter when True Blood Season 7 would air, Stephen Moyer, who plays Bill Compton on the HBO show, replied:

I'm not sure about the summer of 2015, but if things go the way I'm hoping, there will be something to watch in the summer of 2016. Which we'll have an announcement about soon...ish. I cannot talk about it yet.

Of course, this led to tons of speculation that Moyer was implying HBO had plans to release a True Blood movie, just like the network has done with 2008's Sex and the City and are about to do with Entourage.

But when Buzzfeed dug a little deeper in a bid for more details and received the following response: "Nothing to confirm", we were a little disappointed...

Hold up, though, because that response doesn't mean that a True Blood movie is out of the question, it just means that there's nothing official to report at this very moment. Amiright?

What do you think? Could Moyer's words be hint of a possible True Blood movie? How would you like to see the future of the franchise handled after the seventh and final season this summer? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!
