The hype is real for , with a new IMAX featurette hinting at something super exciting for fans: Grindelwald. Not only Grindelwald, but a possible Johnny Depp as Grindelwald?

It's long been rumored that longtime character actor Depp will take the part of disgruntled subversive Gellert Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, but this latest trailer may have given us our first glimpse already.

You can see what could be Johnny Depp at around 03:22.

But wait — there's more. If we look more closely at various shots, we can see a narrative building. We know that Grindelwald has been gathering power in Europe at the time of the Fantastic Beasts storyline. Perhaps in an old fortress like this one? The pointed turrets date the building as something too old for early 20th century New York, where the rest of the movie is set.

Those little pinpricks of light look to the be the Lumos lights of a bunch of wizards — trying to sneak up on Grindelwald and catch him unawares? The next shot adds to that idea: the hats mark these guys as MACUSA officials, who are probably trying to arrest Grindelwald on his own turf.

Here's the really exciting shot: Is this hatless man Grindelwald himself, standing within the gates of his stately home (note the pristine plants and vases on the driveway) awaiting MACUSA's arrival?

Don't you think that the back of this guy's head looks a little like Johnny Depp? This is only a "could be" type situation, because we're going out on a limb that that blonde guy is a) Grindelwald and b) Johnny Depp, but this is just the kind of hint that film studios bury in trailers, knowing that fans will do their utmost to sniff 'em out. What do you guys think?

Would you be psyched to see Johnny Depp as Grindelwald in 'Fantastic Beasts'?
