James Cameron is going to return to Pandora to continue the epic sci-fi story, Avatar, with three successive sequels. Apparently, the director will widen the universe of the grandiose tale by exploring other moons, but the real-life location of the shooting is going to be New Zealand.
As Coming Soon reports, the 20th Century Fox and Lightstorm Entertainment have announced that the upcoming sequels to 's Avatar will be shot in New Zealand.
The first sequel is expected to be released in December 2016, whereas we could prepare for the second one to follow in 2017, and the third another year later. According to the site, the production will begin next year and the stars , and will all return to reprise their roles as Jack Sully, Neytiri and Colonel Miles Quaritch (despite being killed in the end of the first film).
