We all went through that phase of thinking we had the coolest ringtone in the world. Perhaps it was the theme tune of our favorite show, or an iconic quote form our favorite film — either way, we were proud to claim said ringtone as our own whenever we got a call.
However, no matter how awesome our ringtones were, they'll never be as cool as actor James Cromwell's.
In a profile published by The New Yorker, the veteran actor's ringtone was revealed to be his iconic "That'll do, pig" line from the movie Babe. Arguably Cromwell's best known work, Babe follows a piglet who’s just trying to find his place in the world.
"That'll do, Pig" is one of cinema's most known and quotable lines, so we're thrilled to hear that Cromwell loves it just as much as we do:
In addition to his role in Babe, Cromwell is known for playing the villainous Dr. Arthur Arden in American Horror Story: Asylum, a role that won him an Emmy award for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.
Cromwell recently hit the headlines for refusing to pay a $375 fine after he was arrested during a protest in Wawayanda, New York, which resulted in the actor having to spend a week in Orange County jail. The #AmericanHorrorStory star was one of seven people found guilty of obstructing traffic at the proposed site of a natural gas-fired power plant owned by Competitive Power Ventures.
Cromwell has said some pretty memorable lines throughout his career, several of which emerged during his stint on American Horror Story. However, his most iconic remains "That'll do, pig" — and with Cromwell using the signature line from Babe as his ringtone, it looks like the quotation will continue to live on forever.
That'll do, Cromwell, that'll do.
