The talented has scored the leading role in 's upcoming horror thriller, In a Dark Place.
Horror fans who don't watch ABC's sitcom Suburgatory will be introduced to Levy when the upcoming remake of Evil Dead is released this April, as she's set to star in the lead role as Mia.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Levy's role in In a Dark Place will involve her playing the role of an:
American woman who moves to England to become a governess of a porcelain doll, which the family treats as its own son. When the family leaves for a holiday, the woman begins to think the doll is haunted and may be alive.
The movie is a psychological thriller focused around a young American governess, played by Levy, who goes to London to take care of a doll. The family treat the doll like it was their son and expect the governess to take care of it as such.
They had me at creepy doll. Jane Levy is just the icing. I'm fascinated to see how she handles a period piece. She was the far superior version of Mandy back in 2011 on Showtime's Shameless, and I was really sorry to see her be replaced in Season 2 by a girl not nearly as good (presumably since Levy got the more meaty regular role on Suburgatory).
