It's starting to look like Marvel will not rest until all of their superheros, even the most obscure ones, get their own movie. I guess they are still riding the tsunami of cash which flowed out of The Avengers. It seems some of that cinema booty will go making an animated Big Hero 6 movie. There isn't much information on the project, however Rentrak, an agency which works with distributors across Europe and America, has managed to get their hands on a potential release date.

Created in 1998Big Hero 6, as you might be able to guess from the slightly pop-group-esque name, is a Japanese superhero organization. The team originally included the X-Men characters Sunfire and Silver Samurai, although the film is expected to concentrate on the younger team which featured in a recent Amazing Spider-Man tie in. Incidentally this will be Marvel and Disney's first feature length animated film together.

Rentrak have announced that Big Hero 6 will be released on November 21st, 2014... in Spain. OK, so that's probably not much use to most of you, but it does give us an idea of when we can expect to see the movie elsewhere.

What are you thinking? Are you eager to discover Big Hero 6?
