Look away now if the sight of a man built like an actual, crystallized rock gives you severe gym bro envy.
A whole raft of new set pics from #JusticeLeague just leaked on Twitter, and while they don't tease too much about the movie itself, they do confirm several things we already knew, like the fact that Jason Momoa could probably take King Kong in a fight:
Naturally, all of the photos are soaked in the bluey-grey Instagram filter which Zack Snyder has been unable to vanquish from his cameras (I reckon it's X-Pro II, with 'shadow' turned down), but it adds to the "don't fuck with me" vibe radiating from Arthur Curry, so no complaints.
All of the pics were taken on set in Iceland, and appear to be part of the same sequence which we saw in the Comic-Con teaser trailer at the fishing village. This is, it seems, the king tide. (Apologies for my ignorance, but what is the king tide? It sounds pretentious. Educate me in the comments.)
James Wan's Aquaman movies begins shooting in Australia in the new year, before moving on to the famous and severely beautiful Castle of Venus in Italy later in September. That movie arrives in October 2018, while Justice League hits November 17, 2017... plenty of time for Snyder to fiddle with his Insta settings.
On a scale of zero to zero, how many toilet breaks will you be taking during Aquaman's scenes in Justice League?
