Like it or not, DC is set to be on a roll with their upcoming slate of movies. It won't matter what people think about them, they'll just keep coming. One of those movies that people are actually looking forward to is Aquaman, with Jason Momoa as the leading character, Arthur Curry.
People seem to be excited about Momoa as Aquaman, as he is set to give a new, edgy take on the character. Momoa has been very outspoken with his role as well, posting several pictures of him behind the scenes preparing for the role. Recently, Momoa was seen in this post from @87elevenaction:
The photo shows Momoa working at 87Eleven Action Design, which is known for their work on movies such as 300 and John Wick: Chapter 2. Momoa's Aquaman co-star Amber Heard, who will be playing Mera, has also been seen working with 87Eleven as well. Here, Momoa is seen working with Pat Tray, a former Navy SEAL and an expert in hand-to-hand combat.
The trident that Tray is holding is similar to the one that has been seen in other promotional pictures of Momoa as Aquaman. So, it can only be assumed that this is the final product with which they will be working for the movie.
While filming has not yet quite started yet for Aquaman, Momoa has been training with 87Eleven for awhile now, learning how to master both hand-to-hand as well as sword fighting. So, it's possible we can see a lot more action from the King of Atlantis than expected!
Aquaman will dive into theaters October 5, 2018.
