Snoochie Boochies! The dynamic duo Jay and Silent Bob are returning for a new movie. Last month Kevin Smith posted a picture on his Instagram discussing the upcoming project. Although he was hoping to do Clerks 3 or a Mallrats sequel, it just wasn't meant to be. Though these movies would be great to see, it's nice that Smith wants to revisit some of his earlier creations and bring them back out to play.

During the Jay and Silent Bob Get Old Podcast at the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention, Smith dropped the news that shooting would begin in August. According to Smith, "here's the news. It's f***ing funny. Like it's really, really f***ing funny."

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot will see the Jersey boys heading back to Hollywood in an effort to stop a brand new reboot of the old Bluntman and Chronic Movie. According to Smith, "it's a tongue-in-cheek, silly-ass satire that pokes fun at the movie business's recent re-do obsession, featuring an all-star cast of cameos and familiar faces."

It's still quite a while away before fans will be able to rest their peepers on the shenanigans of Jay and Silent Bob again, but it's good to know that some old friends will be visiting us again.

What sort of antics do you hope the stoned duo get up to in the reboot?
