It's been 14 years since the last Austin Powers movie, but with the trilogy making over one BILLION dollars (!) worldwide, it wouldn't be a crazy idea to bring AP out of retirement.

Austin Powers director Jay Roach sat down with Larry King and gave hope to ill-tempered mutated sea bass everywhere with his promise that Austin Powers 4 is still a possibility. Check it out.

"You know, we talk about it every time we [Roach and Mike Myers] get together. I would say it’s in a latent phase right now but someday if we find the right idea that seems to have it earn itself, for sure. Mike gave me the break of a lifetime in letting me direct [Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery], so I’m always good to go.”

Still, don't rush to dust off your Swedish-made penis enlargers just yet: there's no concrete treatment or script for the project. Roach adds that he and Myers have been "kicking around" some plans, but "there’s no one that’s kind of stuck yet."

Begin the unnecessarily slow-moving dipping mechanism — we could be waiting awhile.
