Katniss Everdeen's leaving us!

America's sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence is planning to quit acting for a year when The Hunger Games finally finishes.

The Hollywood star has had one helluva successful career in the past two years, having snagged an Oscar, several other awards and grossed billions of dollars at the box office thanks to her record-breaking movie numbers.

But, the 23-year-old actress said she is hoping to lie low and recuperate when the movie's final installment, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, hits theaters in November 2015. PerezHilton is reporting that JLaw only blames herself for her hectic workload:

It's okay, it's my fault. I get little breaks here and there. But on the last day of Hunger Games, I'm going to turn my phone off for a year!

Good for her. I'm sure her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult wasn't ecstatic to hear that his girl won't be reachable on her cell, though! But Jen definitely deserves to take some time off movies with a hiatus, and damn well enjoy life!

And don't fret, Jennifer Lawrence fans (that's all of us)! Even though the actress has declared herself officially chillin' from the moment The Hunger Games ends, you'll still be able to get plenty of Jen-time, as she's got a whole bunch of movies coming out in the coming months, including X-Men: Days Of Future Past and Serena. Plus, the ULTIMATE DIAMOND PLATINUM SUPER MEGA MOCKINGJAY COLLECTOR'S EDITION Hunger Games box set when all 4 movies are finally done. Just sayin'.

What do you think about Jen's early retirement plans? Worst idea ever? Let me know in the comment section below!
