While tonight's episode of was airing, fans took to Twitter once again to voice their opinions and, as always, there were some great reactions. The thing that grabbed everyone's attention was Jesus (finally) revealing his sexuality to both Maggie and the viewers, explaining that he's always had trouble getting close to neighbors, friends — and "boyfriends."

There had been speculation about whether or not Jesus would be gay on the show, matching his sexuality in the comic books, and fans were hoping that the series would remain loyal to the source material. Thankfully, this was the case, and the internet was going crazy over the whole thing.

As we've been preparing for this historic moment, you can imagine how happy viewers were to get this confirmation. Let's take a look at some of the best reactions on social media:

We're pleased that the show has given us yet another reason to praise Jesus because as far as we can tell, he's literally becoming one of the show's best characters. AMC being faithful to this element of the comics is a huge win for LGBT representation. All we can say is hallelujah!
