Good news campers! Seven years after Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Joe Jonas has indicated that he and the original Camp Rock cast would be up for making a third film!

The idea of a trilogy initially started out as a joke, with Jonas posting a photo of himself and Demi Lovato on Instagram with the caption "CR3?." However in a recent interview things are sounding a little more serious for the likelihood for a new installment.

Speaking to Marie Claire, Jonas was very open to the possibility and also had his own ideas about what type of direction the franchise could go in! Jonas said:

"If it made sense, sure. For all of us—Demi, Nick, it would be funny to do a spin on it. Do the graduating days, make it kinda dark. An adult film. Well, not an adult film. An R-rated film. We've joked around about the idea a couple times."

While I'm not entirely convinced that will let one of its most popular original movie franchises turn R-rated, I'm sure that a more grown up take on the characters would totally be possible. Give the fans what they want, Camp Rock 3 please!
