For the past few weeks, Josh Gad has been relentlessly badgering his Murder on the Orient Express co-star Daisy Ridley for spoilers on her upcoming Star Wars film, The Last Jedi. He's lured her into his trailer not once but three times, pulling out all the stops to get even a snippet of insider knowledge. He even recruited a staunch Judi Dench to try and persuade her, all to no avail.

In spite of his attempts, Ridley has remained resolute under his persistent pressure, refusing to give anything more than a mysterious smile. Now, Gad has had one final crack at interrogation:

"This has been a battle of attrition. has been a force to be reckoned with. In many ways she is the Vader to my Luke or the Taylor to my Katy. But like any good opponent, I have tried to outmaneuver her at every turn. This will be her final judgement. May the force be with her, because kids, she is going to need it. All I ask is that you don't ruin the surprise for others."

For his final attempt, Gad enlisted the help of more than just Judi Dench. He invited half the cast of Murder on the Orient Express over to his house, as well as a few other big names. While some of the amateur detectives — like Penélope Cruz — were very interested in the dirt on Snoke, others had queries of a different nature.

Bryce Dallas Howard was far more interested in Rey's wardrobe, asking the hard-hitting questions about the possibility of her boot heels getting "stuck in the grates of the Millennium Falcon." Chris Pratt, meanwhile, only felt it pertinent to remind us all that he's in Avengers: Infinity War— among other things.

Even JJ Abrams, director of The Force Awakens, was asking about Luke's dialog in , proving that even he isn't privy to the details of his own film's sequel.

The Last Dinosaur?

You may have noticed that a few of Gad's fellow Star Wars nerds weren't actually involved in Murder on the Orient Express, but another film entirely. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are the stars of the upcoming Jurassic World 2, and sitting next to them was Jurassic World 2 writers Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow.

So what the hell were they doing there? No, they're not going to cameo in Murder on the Orient Express. Jurassic World 2 has just started filming in London, which is right around the corner from where Gad and Ridley have been shooting— making it all too easy to pop over to Gad's house to help get those sweet Last Jedi spoilers.

And as for Bryce Dallas Howard's shoe query? She's obviously intent on avoiding any more wardrobe blunders for her character Claire— and if anyone knows how to dress for practicality, it's Rey.

Do you have any theories on the Last Jedi questions Daisy Ridley refuses to answer?
