With Justice League only months away, the hype train is full steam ahead over at Warner Bros. and the #DC Extended Universe right now. And today finds us with three new teaser trailers in our laps, one for #Batman (Ben Affleck), one for Flash (Ezra Miller) and one for everyone's favorite Dothraki-turned-superhero, Aquaman (Jason Momoa).
The return of Batman is always an exciting one, as he brings with him a plethora of other interesting and exciting characters. The far-off inclusion of Nightwing is one of them, but this time around Justice League will give us our first introduction to J.K. Simmons as Commissioner James Gordon.
Best known in superhero circles for his uncanny portrayal of J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, Simmons takes over the reigns previously held by Gary Oldman as one of the most important supporting characters in Batman's history. And now we've got another cheeky glimpse of what he's going to look like in Justice League, thanks to the trailer sneak peeks.

A blink and you'll miss it moment revealed to us the new #CommissionerGordon standing on the rooftop of the famous Gotham City Police Department, alongside the even more famous Bat-signal lamp.
The above image is part of what we assume to be Gordon's introductory scene, filmed on his first day on set as Movie Pilot saw during last year's Justice League set visit. Here he's waiting for Batman to arrive, which he does, along with two of the superfriends, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Flash.
After a quick chat about parademons Cyborg (Ray Fisher) shows up, but no sign of Aquaman yet — something tells us he's going to be the hardest nut to crack. Then, in what has become now a running joke in the comics, Batman and Wonder Woman disappear when Gordon's back is turned. Flash makes a Flash-like comment about them being rude, before speeding off after them.
We don't really know much about Simmons' version of Gordon yet, though we can confirm he does have the bitchin moustache of his comic book counterpart. He's said to be a long time ally to Batman in the #DCEU, which makes sense given how the character is typically portrayed. Aside from that, expect badassery, and hopefully somewhere along the line we'll meet his red-headed daughter...
Dont forget to check back this Saturday when the new Justice League trailer drops!
