will be uniting DC's biggest heroes Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg, to save our world from another cataclysmic event. As you can imagine, this is quite an event for all of us nerds.

Now, after almost a year of an excruciatingly long waiting period for more footage, and two days filled with tantalizing teasers and posters, the new Justice League trailer is finally here, and it packs quite a punch (literally).

Naturally with trailers for movies of this scale, there's a lot of information to take in not only one, but in several viewings. So with that in mind, let's break down every noteworthy aspect of this amazing new teaser:

1. A Mysterious Motherbox

Last year, a Justice League set visit gave us a great deal of insight into what would be going on in the story, and we discovered two important things pertinent to this trailer: One, that three Mother Boxes were left on Earth, which where then passed on to humans, Atlanteans, and Amazons . And two, that Parademons were kidnapping scientists, one of them being Silas Stone, Cyborg's father.

We get to see his kidnapping in the trailer, but there's a bigger detail here. In Batman v Superman, we see how Victor Stone merges with the Mother Box left with humans, so why is there a Mother Box in Silas' stone home? Could it be there are more than three on Earth? Or is that a flashback intercut with the events of the present?

2. Cyborg Is A Badass

From promotional material, looks considerably thinner than his comic book counterpart, but I'm glad to see the film did not tone down his abilities because of it.

Cyborg is a beast, proved by how he took down a tank by just landing on it. That's a great intimidation tactic, as he's showing Darkseid's minions he's not a guy they want to mess with.

3. Batman Can Hold His Own Against The Armies Of Apokolips

In case you were wondering why a man with no superpowers dressed as a bat was hanging around with some of the universe's most powerful beings in the midst of an intergalactic war, there's your answer. is more than capable of holding his own against Darkseid's parademons, which, from what we saw in Batman v Superman, are not easy adversaries. Nice going, Bats.

4. Amber Heard As Mera

We've known for a while that Mera would be part of Justice League. In fact, this isn't our first look at her. Last year shared this image of as Aquaman's most trusted ally:

But it's great to finally see her in motion. Granted, it's just for a split second but she was a great addition to the trailer nonetheless.

5. A Set-Up For Barry Allen's Storyline

We get our first look at former Doctor Manhattan, , as Henry Allen, when Barry visits him in prison. Believe it or not, that brief moment has a lot of implications for the . We know that Henry Allen was framed for his wife's murder at the hands of the Reverse Flash, so it's likely Eobard Thawne is somewhere out there causing trouble (as a crazy murderous speedster should be doing).

With Zack Snyder's love for teasers and Easter Eggs, it's highly likely this is a tease for what's to come in 's solo outing.

Now, Justice League exploring Barry Allen's backstory can be a double-edged sword because, while we obviously need a setup for the character, we've seen how a superhero film that's trying to tell various different stories can fail. So his story needs to be handled carefully.

6. The Brutal War Between The Amazons And Apokolips

From the aforementioned Justice League set visit, we learned that, thousands of years ago, humanity, Amazons and Atlanteans were embroiled in a war against Apokolips. Now, we get a sense of just how brutal and massive that was. And from the looks of it, Darkseid's people had a great advantage over our three powerful lines of defense, evident by the ground showing Apokolips' distinctive cracks.

Hopefully, our new rag-tag group of heroes manage to prevent that disaster.

7. Lois Lane... But No Superman?

Warner Bros. has done a great job to keep us guessing about and his impending resurrection. For the frustration of fans everywhere, this trailer continues the mystery. What caught my attention though, is the presence of Lois Lane.

With her, it's evident WB is planting seeds in the marketing for his eventual reveal in the film. I have to say, with all the mystery surrounding Clark Kent, that better be a jaw-dropping surprise.

8. So What's Your Super Power?

Barry Allen addresses the question fans have been asking for years: What's Batman's superpower? Bruce Wayne's answer?

"I'm rich."

That's a great reply. But let's be honest here, that was the perfect moment for Wayne to throw the iconic...

9. A Bat-Family Reference

In our first taste of as Commissioner Gordon, Batman's trusted ally sees the Caped Crusader in the company of the League and tells him:

"Glad to see you playing well with others again."

That's an obvious reference to Batman's penchant for trusted sidekicks, mainly Jason Todd and , who we know are somewhere out there in the DCEU.

We know that Bruce Wayne already lost Jason Todd, so him being willing to form a team after such a traumatic event is some pretty clever character development. Of course, Bats replies that his allegiance is only temporary, but come on, we all know that's not the case.

10. Aquaman And Batman Are The Team-Up We've Been Waiting For

Perhaps the coolest moments in the trailer came courtesy of the incredible dynamic between Aquaman and Batman. First, we're given a glimpse into their witty banter, as Arthur has some fun with the Caped Crusader by telling him:

"Just like a bat... I dig it."

Following that, we received the faint-inducing moment of Arthur surfing on the Batmobile before jumping off to tackle a pack of parademons. If that's not the sign of one of the greatest superhero team-ups in recent memory, I don't know what is.

In last year's Comic-Con footage, we saw Curry and Wayne weren't exactly buddies at the beginning...

But these clips show us they're not always going to be enemies. Instead, it seems they're going to develop quite an interesting friendship. That, of course, is always nice when you have to save the world together.

So far, Justice League is looking great. The film seems to finally give fans what they've wanted all along by capturing the joy of having these amazing characters coming together.

Unfortunately though, that is uplifting and worrying at the same time. has made a name for itself for delivering incredible trailers for considerably polarizing movies. So, as amazing as this new look at the film is, we can only hope it delivers on its promise of being a great experience.
