There have been many classic celebrity feuds over the years, from the epic rivalry between Hollywood royals Bette Davis and Joan Crawford to the on-set beef between action stars The Rock and Vin Diesel. Well, now we can add the bitter feud between pop stars and to that list.

While the two singers have been embroiled in their feud since 2013, it seems like this year has once again brought it to the forefront, particularly due to the lyrics of Perry's new song "Swish Swish." While Katy recently publicly forgave Taylor on The Thrive Global Podcast during her four-day live stream YouTube event “Witness World Wide," fans still wanted to know what she thought about Swift releasing her back catalog of music to streaming services on the same day that Perry's album dropped.

Sitting down for an interview with Today's Natalie Morales, Perry opened up about her new album and the live stream. However, she also spoke about her feud with Swift.

"I Can Only Do Me"

During the interview, Morales brought up "Swish Swish" — a song which a lot of people thought was a response to Swift's 2014 hit "Bad Blood" — asking Perry if the new track was directed at "a certain someone." Perry responded by telling her that song isn't directed at "just one person," before speaking about Swift:

"All I need to say to her is that I love her and God bless her on her journey."

Morales followed it up by asking Perry whether Swift's decision to release music to streaming services on the same day bothered her. Perry answered:

"I don't know. I can only do me."

Now that Perry has both publicly forgiven Taylor Swift and claimed to love her, it seems that she really is ready to let go of the bitter feud — which began back in 2013 when she hired backup singers from Swift's tour. But the question is: is Taylor also ready to let go?
